Business magnate Elon Musk has been super active on the popular microblogging site, Twitter. The CEO of Tesla has been fluctuating the markets with just his tweets.

Well, now the entrepreneur will have personal control over the social media platform as he will also invest his तन-मन-धन in it. In short, Musk has almost bought Twitter for $44 billion (Rs.3,36,62,64,00,00,00,000 approx.)

According to a report by NDTV, Musk has been successful in procuring a deal to buy Twitter for $44 billion. Twitter announced the $54.20-per-share deal after a meeting with its shareholders.

Bret Taylor, the chairman of Twitter also confirmed the news.

Taking to the micro-blogging site, the free speech advocator hopes that everyone stays on Twitter.

He also penned that he wants to make Twitter better than ever by enhancing the product with new features, making the algorithms open source to increase trust, defeating the spambots, and authenticating all humans.

The company’s CEO Parag Agrawal said in a tweet:
