Ekta Kapoor Admits Attacking Jeetendra’s Heroines, Was Banned From His Sets

Television and movie producer Ekta Kapoor is the reason why most of us desis are hooked on to our TV screens watching serials that sometimes blow our minds. Apart from being a director and popular personality, she is also the daughter of veteran actors Jeetendra and Shobha Kapoor.

Recently in an interview on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ alongside her dad, Ekta shared how she used to accompany the ‘Farz’ actor to his set. She further divulged that she was so jealous of his heroines that she would attack them on sets, reported Hindustan Times.

“I was very possessive about papa. Main papa ko kisi ke saath shooting karne nahi deti thi (I used to not let him shoot with anyone).” Ekta said. She further revealed that she was also banned from entering his set.

“They used to not let me go on his set because I could attack his heroines. I was so jealous, ki mere papa ke saath koi kaam nahi karega. Mere father ke saath koi baat kare mujhe bilkul achcha nahi lagta tha (that no one should work with my father. Even if someone else spoke to my father, I did not like it at all).”

Back in the days, Jeetendra had a huge female following and his energy and great dance moves would make anyone his admirer. It’s understandable that a young girl would be jealous of the female attention her dad was getting.
