This Man Sells ‘Kachoris’ And Then Teaches In A School He Built Himself. #Respect

This isn’t an ordinary story.

This is the story of a great man. Kanailal Saha, was a mere student trying to learn everything he could. But he wasn’t like every other student, “My father said education was a luxury in a family where arranging the next meal was a challenge,” Saha recited.

He managed to attend school, on the condition that, he would sell 100 samosas a day with his father to train travellers.

He managed to finance his own education through school. His teachers helped him sail through it, by recommending him as a tution teacher and lending him books. “In Class 7, I had my first student,” recalls Saha.

However he couldn’t afford Rs 500 for college and he abandoned his education

This strengthened his resolve to provide cheap education to every child, especially those who couldn’t afford it. “I cannot stand a poor student suffering simply because s/he does not know English,” exclaimed Saha.

His dream finally came true, when Saha purchased a property worth Rs 50,000 to build his school, Little Planet in 2007.

Most of the students in his school come from below the poverty line, from families of Rickshaw pullers, masons and domestic help. To cater to these students, he’s providing education to these young kids fro 120 Rs a year.

This Kachori seller is not an ordinary man, he’s an example to us all.
