(Sarcasm Ahead)
Ladies, chuck ambitions, dreams, and success, because ‘women are born to be the best mothers and ideal bahuranis’! A woman who aces household chores is deemed the ideal Bahu, Beti and Maa! And this is what that makes a woman
An institute in Hyderabad is offering Dulhan courses and classes on ‘how to live a successful married life’ which help a candidate learn the key to build a happy marriage!
The special course gives lessons on cooking, mehendi, budgeting and sewing. While we can get on board with the lessons in finance, what makes people cringe is the fact that no institute nationwide has dared to offer ‘Dulha courses’. If ‘patriarchy’ seems like a hard pill to swallow gents, take a second to ponder whether you’d consider enrolling for such a class prior to wedlock.
A twitter user shared the details about the
No, really, what the actual fuck is this? Hyderabad, you are far more fucked up than I thought! Are they any classes for men or the entire onus of making a marriage work is on the woman alone? When is our society going to change & stop putting the entire burden on the woman! pic.twitter.com/tnaea7HgtF

Her post was soon flooded with reactions from all over the internet. People have lashed out at the coaching classes for showcasing such a course that puts the burden of home management entirely on women.

A friend of mine taught at a pretty renowned girls college in Mehdipatnam. She said that the seats filled up the fastest in their Home Science program because woh liye toh rishte achhe aate bolke.

However, I’m eager to know if they have such courses for men too? ‘Best Dulha Course’ or ‘Best Papa Course’ would be rad!
Also, a few people actually believe that such courses are useful for women and ensure a better home and marriage management. Have a look:
Burden is on both men and women. But you should know the reality why divorces increases this days ,it is because lack of awareness of practical life in digital world.if girls are trained by some expert homemakers what is wrong in that .it is free of cost.

Ok. The title of the course may offend feminists but the contents of the course are very much in favor of dulhans. It will definitely give them sense of confidence if they know sewing/cooking/home management etc keeping the fact in mind the majority of current lot is uneducated.

Nobody saying only women are responsible for keeping marriages..

It’s 2019 and we have seen many women balancing their work and home equally well. From the Prime Minister’s chair to heading to space, women have proven we need no such ‘courses’ to brush up on our abilities!
Thanks, but no thanks!
