Man Uses Drone To Successfully Catch Fish Amid Lockdown; Watch Video

Staying indoors can get quite dull unless you own a drone. After all, people are using the flying machine to share whiskey, walk their dog and whatnot. It’s amazing how the tiny device allows you to be outdoors without actually stepping a foot outside.

Like, recently, a man in Australia used a drone to catch a fish. Yes, that happened! Sam Romeo, who was at his friend’s house in Sydney, was overwhelmed with boredom and decided to try fishing with a drone, reports NDTV.

Sam, who flew the drone off a balcony, attached bait to the end of a fishing line. Some odd 30 minutes and two battery changes later, the drone snapped up a small fish.

Sam, who has no prior fishing experience, was quoted saying by the Daily Mail,

“I’ve done a few jobs where I’ve hung a few things off the drone such as delivering wedding rings for a ceremony.”

The first time fisherman had measured the fishing line length between the bait and the drone so he could still see the fish. He wanted the length to be long enough so that on pulling the fish the drone wouldn’t go under the water.

However, he decided to release his catch back into the water as it was undersized. Well, this unorthodox but still effective method of fishing does seem fun. Would you ever try drone fishing? Do tell us!
