When I go into a bar I don’t usually order the same thing every time, unless I’m broke AF (which happens more often than you’d think). Even with your friends, you must have seen their drink order change from one night-out to another. But really, your drink preference is influenced by what you’re thinking or feeling at the time.
So when you’re checking out someone at the bar, you can judge their mood when you figure what’s in their glass!
Whisky
If you’ve ordered yourself a large whisky with coke or soda, then I know exactly how you feel. You’ve had a long day at work, you’re tired, frustrated, exhausted and probably just drinking to unwind
Vodka
When you go to a bar, see all these 18 somethings high on energy and feel like reminiscing, you order yourself some green apple vodka with sprite. It’s the one drink that brings back memories of your first drunk experience and sadly the hangover that follows is much worse than you had all those years ago.
Cosmopolitan
It’s the drink you order when you feel like a fancy girls night out, with a  couple of your closest girl friends, spilling secrets and giggling like it’s your first sleepover! Very ‘Sex and The City’ and it’s pretty much that kind of night you’re expecting, so the boys better back off.
Beer
That’s the chill drink, it’s the day when you aren’t really up for drinking, but you know everyone else is and you’ve got to keep your sober on! So you sip on a few beers, play some darts at a local watering hole with your ripped jeans and a favourite T-shirt.
Long Island Ice Tea
When you’re feeling flirty but you need to get your drink on, to be able to get back on the horse. So you choose the devil’s own, the drink which makes you tipsy enough to get the balls to approach a hottie, but not enough to throw up on his shoes.
Hot Toddy
You feel under the weather, it doesn’t have to be a cold or sickness, but you need a hot cup of something to soothe and comfort you. So maybe this monsoon, we’ll see a lot of people enjoying some Hot Toddy!
Wine
When you feel sophisticated AF! Usually on an outing with your boss or maybe even a business tete-e-tete. It’s the drink you have when you’ve dressed up in a summer dress and perfectly styled your hair to look tousled.

That’s when you wish you were on a holiday rather than slumming it in a city. You’re probably dreaming of white sand and clear blue water. If you can’t be there, you might as well drink like you’re already in a hammock, swinging away your worries.

You’re feeling exceptionally adventurous and you’re ready to bring that adventure to the bar. It’s one big adrenaline rush and your poison of choice is a flaming shot. We’ve been there, just remember to hand over your car keys to a friend.
