Let’s admit it. Phone covers are extremely expensive. And you know what’s the worst part? When you see a beautiful cover, and make up your mind to shell out money, and then discover that it is not available for your phone model. But, you don’t necessarily have to dig for hours to find your perfect phone cover. You can just make one.
So, here are few innovative ways to decorate your phone cover and make it look fantastic.
1. Spray Paint On A Lace
An extremely chic design which will make your phone look beautiful. All you have to do is buy a phone cover, absolutely any design (even a cheap one would do) and spray paint it black. Then, take a piece of lace and put it on that black cover after it dries. Now, spray paint it golden or silver. Your foxy cover will be ready.
2. Paste Some Neon Studs
I love neon shades. They are so cool and they always stand out. All you have to do is stick them in a particular pattern on any plain phone cover. You can try stripes, polka dots, arrows, diamonds or any design you want.
3. Stary Stary Case
Star shaped sequins look so cute. If you have a plain case, you can stick stars on the cover and it will look absolutely stunning. You can cover one corner like shown in the picture if you don’t like too much bling. Otherwise, you can fill the entire area too.
4. Arrange Metallic Studs
Those sexy metallic pyramid shaped studs look good on anything. Be it you collar, shoe, bag or phone cover. This time, don’t cover the entire area with them. Arrange them in a pattern and stick them accordingly.
5. Cover It With Glitter
I don’t think I need to explain the process of this one. Put glue all over and roll the cover on glitter. You can experiment with different colours or also try two colours together. Sparkle never goes out of fashion.
6. Stick A Jewellery Charm On Your Cover
It will give a cool 3D effect and will look super chic. So, if you have those big metallic owl or ship pendants, you can stick them on your phone cover. It will look awesome.
7. Create A Collage Of Magazine Cut-Outs
Cut out the sassiest pictures from your favourite magazine and paste them on your phone cover. Then, put a coat of transparent enamel on top to seal the deal. Leave it out to dry.
8. Cross Stitch On Your Case
A plain cross stitch case is easily available online. After getting it, you can stitch your favourite design on it. It’s neat, pretty and classy. I absolutely love it.
9. Paste A Vintage Map
If you are one of those people who love vintage, this idea is for you. Cut out a vintage map and stick it on your phone cover. You can either use a see through case or cover it with transparent enamel.
10. Paste Watercolour Cut Outs
Colour a paper with watercolour. Use techniques like blow painting and bubble painting to give a prettier effect. Then cut out few designs from that paper and paste it on your case. Cover the whole arrangement with transparent enamel and let it out to dry.
11. Stripes Of Washi Tape And Lace
Create pretty combinations and paste it over your phone cover. You can choose a colour scheme and can also put some bling to make it more awesome. It’s easy and looks stunning.
12. Pearl Case
Extremely simple and very chic. You can arrange pearls and other jewels in any preferable design. It will look stunning.
13. The Charm Of ’90s Stickers
Do you remember these? I used to be crazy about them as kids. You can stick these on a transparent case and fill it up. It will remind you of those good old days.
14. Seashells On The Case
If you are one of those people who likes bold accessories, you’ll love this idea. Yes, it’s too out there but that’s its speciality. You just have to collect some shells of different colours and sizes and paste them in an assortment. You can even break them to create a mosaic effect.
15. A Pressed Flower Case
Take a plain white case and arrange your pressed flowers and leaves on it. Then cover it with transparent enamel and let it out to dry. It will look beautiful. You can read a more detailed procedure here.
16. Tattoo Case
Take a plain cover and clean it. Choose a good tattoo. It can be absolutely anything, from butterfly to roses. After it’s dried, cover it with micro mist spray and you are done.
17. Splash All Over It
I don’t have to tell you how to splash paint across a plain case. After it has dried, cover it with transparent enamel.
Hope this was helpful.
Until nest time. 🙂
