On Tuesday night, several parts of north India including Delhi experienced strong tremours. An earthquake of 6.5 magnitude had hit Afghanistan, the effects of which were felt in India too for several seconds, reported Indian Express. It caused buildings to shake, causing many to flee their homes in panic in the middle of the night.
However, Indian television actor Divyanka Tripathi took to Instagram Stories to document the earthquake in Chandigarh and expressed how excited she was to experience it first-hand. She shared how other people in her apartment complex had also fled their homes and came downstairs.
