Reality TV Star Divya Agarwal Slams Trolls Shaming Her For Posting Glam Pics After Dad’s Demise

Time and again, celebrities have been trolled and subjected to online hatred. Sometimes for posting pictures in swimsuits and other times for having a gala time with their families a couple of hours before their game. Well, no matter what celebs do, the desktop warriors always have some unsolicited advice for them.

This time, it’s reality TV star Divya Agarwal who was subjected to incessant trolling for putting herself together and getting back to life after her father’s demise, reported Hindustan Times.

A couple of days back, Divya mourned the death of her father Sanjay Agarwal in an emotional Instagram post. Soon after, condolences poured in from her friends and colleagues from the industry.

Obviously, it was hard for her to overcome the loss. But the troll police were quick to shame her for deciding to not let her sorrow take control over her life. Sharing screenshots of the hate messages she received online, Divya wrote:

“I really don’t know what to say. Why do I have to feel guilty about moving on? My dad, my loss, my way of handling. It’s sad to see people still want to demean you in such situations. Maybe the world is so toxic right now. they only want to see people cry.”

A couple of days ago, during an Instagram live with her boyfriend Varun Sood, Divya also said that they will continue to live their lives happily as that’s what her father would have wanted. She had said:

“We are going to celebrate Diwali. I am going to ask my mom to keep Karva Chauth, she is not going to remove her bindi and mangalsutra. Hum shok nahi manayenge (We will not mourn).”

Yesterday, she also said that people respected Virat Kohli when he went back to the fields right after his father’s demise. However, they are calling her out for doing the same.

Everyone has their own way of handling different situations. It appears Divya decided to celebrate the life her dad lived. To each their own. Stay strong, Divya!
