“We were in a convoy – I was commander of my vehicle. We drove around the corner and a suicide bomber drove into the back of my vehicle and detonated.”

But the army veteran overcame his PTSD as well as his disability and enrolled into sporting and strongman competitions. Recently, at the North Somerset’s Strongest Man event in the UK, he set a new Guinness world record.

He lifted 505 kg in the ‘Heaviest Seated Strongman Deadlift’. Here is the video of his amazing feat.

News18 quoted him saying,

“I want to show the world what disabled people can do. Okay, we do it in a different way but that doesn’t mean we’re weaker.”

He believes that participating in sports helps people physically and mentally and encourages everyone to do so. We cannot wait to see this courageous man shine at future events. Good luck, sir!
