Pakistan PM Imran Khan’s address to the UN General Assembly reportedly saw him engage in mudslinging against India. However, a fiery young Indian diplomat gave a swift clapback by calling Pakistan an “arsonist” disguising itself as a “fire-fighter”.
When Pak PM shared his speech via video due to Covid precautions, he mentioned the 2019 decision of India to abrogate Article 370 and even said. “The worst and most pervasive form of Islamophobia now rules India.” See his full speech here.

Sneha Dubey, First Secretary, Indian mission in UN lashed out at Pakistan and its Prime Minister Imran Khan in response to his speech for allegedly uttering lies against India.
Dubey said that this is not the first time the leader of Pakistan has sought to “propagate false and malicious propaganda against my country, and seeking in vain to divert the world’s attention from the sad state of his country where terrorists enjoy free pass while the lives of ordinary people, especially those belonging to the minority communities, are turned upside down.”

An Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer of 2012 batch, Sneha has done her schooling from Goa. Reports reveal she had aspired to become an IFS officer from the time she was 12. Her first appointment as an IFS officer was in the ministry of external affairs, reports HT. Dubey was widely lauded for criticizing Khan in her powerful speech, saying,
“This is the country which is an arsonist disguising itself as a fire-fighter. Pakistan nurtures terrorists in their backyard in the hope that they will only harm their neighbours. Our region, and in fact the entire world, has suffered because of their policies. On the other hand, they are trying to cover up sectarian violence in their country as acts of terror,” she said.
Her speech soon went viral online and desi junta had a lot to say about it-

She spoke strongly and beautifully. Though same statements are made before as well, seems like pakistan is yet to learn from it.

Indian foreign relations strategy! Wow! A young little diplomat finds the PM of Pak indiscreet and insensitive to the opinion of the world at large.
