If you ask any Punjabi music aficionado, he’ll tell you how apart from singer Diljit Dosanjh’s songs, his comedy is also G.O.A.T. The ‘Udta Punjab’ actor, who has been spending his quarantine time at home, keeps entertaining his fans with little video snippets from his day to day life.
When he is not cooking in his kitchen and tickling our funny bones with his hilarious commentary, the multi-talented artist can be seen getting in a verbal spat with his virtual assistant Alexa. Well, most of us know about Amazon’s Alexa and how it makes our lives easy.
Even though the futuristic gadget is intelligent enough to recognise our voice and understand the command given, it sometimes does have difficulty understanding certain accents and dialects.
In a video posted by Diljit captioned, “Clash Between Me & Alexa”, one can see him getting into a banter with the device, reports News18. In the Instagram story, Diljit can be seen making a smoothie in his kitchen and also urging the electronic device to play one of his songs ‘Clash’. However, looks like Alexa wasn’t in a mood to take orders.
The actor keeps asking it to play the song and it keeps coming up with some vague responses to his requests. When it’s unable to play the song requested by him, he says, “Huney he laaya tu jhuthiye (you just played the song, liar). If you don’t know English then Alexa is going to make you mad,” he declares in Punjabi.

They again get into a spat when he tells her to increase the volume. “Yaar tussi YouTube te jaakey sunlo gaana, Alexa ne dimaag kha laya mera. (Guys, listen to the song on YouTube, Alexa has irritated me.)”
