First came disposable surgical masks. Then came N95 masks. Then came the reusable and washable cotton desi printed breathable masks. Then came the silk, satin, georgette, leather, velvet, zardosi, Benarasi, etc. masks. Because the coronavirus is here to stay, so people thought if we have to wear masks then fashionable toh hona chahiye!
However, taking things on a different level altogether, a jewellery shop in Surat, named D. Khushalbhai Jewellers, is selling diamond masks for people to wear at weddings.
This invention aims to make wedding-looks ‘different’. Matching couple masks are available too. Now for the cherry on the cake – these masks cost between Rs 1 lakh to Rs 4 lakhs, reports News18.
A journalist took to Twitter to post a video of diamond masks being sold in the shop. He wrote how the masks are specially made for people “shaadi mein alag dikhne ke liye”. He also added how these masks are particularly “helpful” in creating a different wedding look.
