Kohli Revealed That It Was Dhoni’s Idea To Send Jadhav And It Proves Mahi’s Brilliance

Yesterday’s India vs Bangladesh match was truly impeccable! Men in blue emerged victorious to defend team India in the finals of ICC World Champions Trophy, against Pakistan, this Sunday.

Apart from being a nail-biting event, so much more happened at yesterday’s match. For starters, Yuvraj Singh became the 5th Indian to feature in a 300th ODI. Then, Virat Kohli became the fastest cricketer to complete 8,000 runs! And, on the top of that the world witnessed the brilliance of Kedar Jadhav!

Kedar Jadhav’s incredible spell of 22 runs in 6 overs against Bangladesh changed the game for India! But it was Dhoni’s idea to send Jadhav to do the deed. Kohli, who has immense respect for the former Indian skipper took the call and sent Jadhav.

“Kedar’s wickets were a bonus. We wanted to cover up the overs because Hardik was going for runs. MS said Kedar was a good option and that worked for us.”

Virat said that when Hardik Pandya was leaking runs, Dhoni advised him that the regulars needed rest. It was then, that Dhoni suggested that Kedar Jadhav will be the perfect choice for a breakthrough!

After Jadhav took the wickets of Tamim Iqbal and Mushfiqur Rahim, the Bangladesh Team just started to fall apart. Speaking about Dhoni, Jadhav said –
