Proposals can be simple, intimate affairs and they can also be unusual and EXTRA AF! In the past, people have gone to great lengths to make theirs stand out from the crowd. For instance, one man planted a carrot in the ring while another proposed secretly for a month without his girlfriend noticing.
But Dhar Mann certainly takes the prize for organizing the most extravagant one ever. He and his girlfriend Laura G (a travel influencer) live in Los Angeles.
Dhar revealed, “I knew Laura was going to be a really special person in my life within minutes of meeting her. I wanted to have a proposal that she would always remember. So, I put together a 7-day scavenger hunt that started in Los Angeles and ended in Paris.”
The Sun quoted him adding, “It’s not easy getting anything past Laura, I knew she knew I was going to propose soon but she didn’t know how I was going to do it, where I was going to do it, or exactly which moment.” Here is how the week unfolded for her.
Day 1: He showed her their new apartment and told her that the surprises would continue for a week.
Day 2: Pre-bachelorette party. Mail Online reports he asked her parents for their blessing and booked a spa day before throwing a big party.
Day 3 involved a shopping trip to Beverly Hills and day 4 was a trip to Disneyland.
On days 5 and 6, Dhar and Laura went to Paris. They stayed in a hotel room with a view of the Eiffel Tower and booked a private terrace too. The couple enjoyed a romantic date in the city of love before the big day.
Day 7: Popping the question
