It is a widely accepted belief that people should be well-settled by the age of 25 – get married, earn a decent salary, work a great job, own a car and even a house! But ‘milestones’ or ‘achievement’ means different things for different people. For some people, leaving home and working in a different city is an accomplishment and for others, finishing their Masters degree is a massive achievement. For some, taking care of their parents is praise-worthy while for some others, going on a solo trip is a milestone.
Hence, when a person online asked desis on Twitter what they managed to do by 25, people online shared some really wholesome stories.
What have you managed to do by the age of 25?

Getting a government job, not asking money from parents anymore, surviving accidents and physical ailments, having and raising a child – answers like these proved that there is no set definition for the term ‘achievements’. Have a look at some of the responses here:
Was able to pay the ‘beyana’ amount for the house that we live in. Alhamdulillah.

Married, raising kids, completing my masters, & working. Bought my first home (someone made fun of it of being too small, Allah didn’t like me being mocked so I was rewarded later. It wasn’t easy, but my husband & in-laws were a blessing. It was hard, but hard work pays well.
