We’ve all traveled in a train at some point in our lives. It could be the Mumbai Local, the London Tube, or the Delhi Metro. For some, its a one-time experience, only to be remembered but never repeated. While for others, their regular commute is a thing of romance; to be adored, cherished and missed.
Jyotika Pruthi, through her poem ‘Love Letter to Delhi Metro’ hilariously personifies the Delhi Metro, even calling it the Simran to her Raj. She manages to turn a rather mundane metro journey into a whimsical experience to look forward to.
