Delhi Woman Threatens Suicide To Avoid Getting Fined By Cops For Traffic Violations!

After the revised amendments of the Motor Vehicle Act come into effect from September 1, it has become a cause of major concern for vehicle owners. The increased fines on flouting any traffic rule are hefty. For instance, a helmetless driver from Delhi was issued a challan of INR 23,000. Similarly, a Gurugram tractor-trolley driver was issued challan of Rs 59,000 for multiple violations.

Hence, people have been coming up with weird ways to avoid paying fines for breaking the law. This Delhi woman tried to play the victim card and threatened to commit suicide to avoid paying fines for multiple violations.

A high voltage drama then unfolded when the cops told her that she would be fined for multiple violations. The woman first insisted that the cops release her without a challan. But when she realised that the cops were too relentless, she started crying and said that she was feeling unwell.

She reportedly threw her helmet on the road and created a scene in the middle of the road. Adamant on not accepting the challan, she eventually threatened to hang herself and asked the cops ‘what would you do if I killed myself.’ When the cops were unable to handle the woman’s drama for more than 20 minutes, they finally let her go without issuing a challan.

Well, on one hand, we want safer roads and on the other, we don’t adhere to any traffic laws. And if after that, we are fined for breaking the rules, some play the ‘victim’ card to avoid paying fines! Aise Kaise Chalega Didi?
