21-Year-Old Delhi Student Just Bagged A ₹1.25 Crore Placement Offer From Uber. WOW!

At a time when landing a decent job is getting more and more difficult for engineering students in the nation, there are some who are making a mark and standing out by grabbing top spots in some of the most reputed firms of the world. Here is another such success story of a young boy who has come into the limelight by getting a humongous salary offer from a global form.

Siddharth, a 21-year-old student of Delhi Technical University (DTU) has bagged a job offer of ₹1.25 crore per annum from USA based cab service, ‘Uber Technologies’.

Siddharth has been offered the designation of a Software engineer at Uber’s San Fransisco office. While his basic pay is ₹71 lakhs, the salary goes up to 1.25 crore by adding other benefits.

 

After going through a rigorous recruitment process in which he had to solve problems on the spot, Siddharth has been asked to join Uber’s San Fransisco office.

“It was a delight to have received the job offer and I am now looking forward to move to San Francisco.”

Siddharth has already interned with Uber for seven months which helped him receive the pre-placement offer.

 

The first engineer from his family, Siddharth always had a flair for Computer Science engineering. Speaking of his other interests, he said,

“I loved playing video games, FIFA series, football and I also manage to play a guitar, though I sing terribly.”

 

The offer Siddharth received is the second-best in DTU’s history. In 2015, Google hired an engineer for ₹1.27 crore per annum. R.S Walia, DTU’s head of Training and Placement said,

“We already have 1050 offers from different companies. Around 200 companies have already visited the college and more in the line.”
