Ladies, gentleman and them. It’s 2017 and don’t you think it is high time that LGBTIQA members are given their due? Well, we see Delhi’s unputdownable spirit and how they are proud and more embracing towards the community.
Yesterday, Delhi celebrated its 10th Pride Parade, and the fervour and festivities have us beaming with joy. The stretch from Barakhamba metro station to march till Jantar Mantar was painted in rainbow colours with people flaunting colourful costumes, balloons, flags, posters and placards.
People from the community proudly participated and even others from all walks of life came in and showed support. The pictures are so vibrant that people forgot the smog situation in Delhi. Take a look!

Their demands at the protest-cum-celebration? No hate crime and better legislation for that, anti-discrimination policies, changes in the Section 377 and other laws.
We’re feeling proud at the sight of the extravaganza. This is the 10th year and we hope there are more and more years with growing participation from everyone.
