Delhi Man Accused Of Molestation Goes On Revenge Spree Setting 12 Vehicles On Fire!

With traffic offenders being fined exorbitant sums under the new MV act, we’ve come across several instances where frustrated drivers have set their vehicles on fire rather than pay the fine.

But earlier this week, cops in the capital were perplexed when they found not just a couple but 12 vehicles torched in the same neighborhood. Upon further investigation, the cops apprehended two young men from Delhi who apparently sought thrills in setting the parked bikes and cars ablaze. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rohini) S.D. Mishra said that the accused have been identified as Akash alias Andy aged 19 and Kuldeep alias Monu aged 30, reports The Hindu.

“With the help of human intelligence Akash, who was found to be recently released from jail, was identified. He was arrested from Swada’s JJ Colony. He disclosed his accomplice, Kuldeep’s name and at his instance, the latter was arrested”, the police said.

People on Twitter attempted to guess the real reason why the men went on a vehicular arson spree and the theories they have suggested are downright hilarious. Some called them ‘real climate change activists’ a few others wondered ‘kis pagal kutte ne kaat liye inhe’.

But here’s the real reason:

Akash was accused of molestation under a case reported in Kanjhawala and was sent to jail for 20 days. After he was released, he decided to take revenge on the people living in the colony. “After his [Akash’s] release, he decided to take revenge on the locals and the police for sending him behind the bars and teach them a lesson,” Mr. Mishra said. Akash has reportedly confessed his crime before the police.
