Winter is here and the capital has broken its 118-year record. While mercury is continuously falling in Delhi, people are seeking refuge from the freezing winter by sitting next to a bonfire with a hot drink. Just thinking of Dilli ki sardi is giving me chills!
According to Financial Express, the Delhi-NCR region is expected to record its second-coldest December since 1901. “The mean maximum temperature for December was less than 20 degrees Celsius only in 1919, 1929, 1961 and 1997. It is expected to dip to 19.15 degrees Celsius by December 31,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

I'm glad I'm nowhere near the Dilli ki sardi! I'd have to dunk myself into a cask of hot filter kaapi to survive.
