Party or your safety? The choice is very obvious when you read a question like this. However, when it comes to real life, some covidiots still choose to defy lockdown protocols despite knowing the risks involved.
Recently, 31 people were arrested from Delhi for attending a party at a nightclub called ‘Playgue’, reports News18. So ironic, right?! Well, even though the government has stressed on the importance of social distancing, the nightclub threw a party where people were served hookah and liquor.
Between corona time a rave party was going on in a playgue club in the Paschim Vihar area of Delhi.where alcohol and hookah were also being served wthout permision.Police raided nd detained31people.After which 29people were released.gud work outer delhipolice @dcpouter @CPDelhi pic.twitter.com/GKPdiRdFYw

After receiving a tip-off, police discovered that the club was operating in the garb of a restaurant with a takeaway facility. However, the club didn’t even have the license to serve liquor, reports Times Now. Siblings Lavish Khurana and Kashish Khurana, the owners of the club, were also present at the party. The two brothers were booked under several sections of the Indian Penal Code including IPC Section 188 (violation of government order).
During interrogation, the guests informed the cops about a WhatsApp group made by the club for customers who had visited earlier. Reportedly, a message was sent in the group saying they are open to select members.
People online were not-so-impressed by this party. They called out the party-goers for being so irresponsible amid the pandemic:
I love EVERYTHING about this story of how Delhi can't stop being Delhi even for a hot minute.
1. A nightclub named Playgue
2. in West Delhi
3. masquerading as a take-away facility
4. serving liquor & hookah to patrons
5. in the middle of a pandemic

6. without a liquor licence.
7. Invitations through a secret WhatsApp group
8. which also included the owners.
9. The police were alerted after the patrons' cars caused a traffic jam outside.Nothing summarises Delhi's distaste for the rules like this story.

Delhi version of COVID party – I wonder even if one of them tests positive – could 'Playgue' be the super spreader? https://t.co/MvkAXq3Rbd

What I want to know is how many Dilli peeps pronounced the nightclub's name as "Plai-gyoo"https://t.co/30NbVVZJj9

Police have now sealed the club. In fact, all the guests present will be tested for COVID-19 as well. Throwing and attending a party amid the pandemic is very irresponsible as it puts you and others at risk.
