A couple of weeks back, we got to know how a 15-year-old girl in Jalandhar bravely fought off two men on a bike who tried to snatch her phone. Now, a Delhi resident has narrated an incident where she visited India Gate at 7 am with her parents and got groped by a stranger. The badass woman immediately twisted the guy’s hand, punched and kicked him.
She received a lot of love and support online asking if she was alright and if she needed to talk to someone.
Proud of you . Sorry you had to go through such an ordeal . https://t.co/mtMD8wdLsP

People on Twitter shared their own chilling experiences of being touched inappropriately and how they reacted.
This guy needs to be embarassed and apprehended to police.
Good job though.
I've seen it happen with mob during Ganesh chaturthi and Nimarjan where families attend for a religious celebration and this mob is part of celebration doing shit like this.— lakshmikanth (@techiekanth) September 27, 2020

I was at Lodhi Garden for a bday party when I was 12. A few of us girls climbed to the top of a small structure. As we descended, an older boy groped & pinned me to the wall. Before he could do anything I kicked him in his balls, shoved him, & ran. I'm still surprised I did that! https://t.co/8I3yDKtJah

Same thing happened to me once. This guy tried to grab my boobies. I grabbed his collar, slapped him and pushed him back on the middle of a crowded road. Lol.

The discussion also highlighted the need for young girls to be taught self-defense before teaching them how to make perfectly round rotis.
Why should women be subjected to such humiliation? I have been training my daughter in marshals arts until this pandemic but will see that she resumes it after the vaccine.

As someone that always felt too timid to do this. It is never too late. ATTACK THEM BACK! Walk on the street like you have every right to be there. https://t.co/SYYayw5M8M pic.twitter.com/C7Eh03aaED

It really is disturbing to see how many women have faced harassment in public places.
