Inspiring Story Of Delhi Cop Who Lost 46 Kgs In 8 Months By Walking & Changing Diet

Being body positive is one thing. Ignoring your overall health in the name of body positivity is a whole different thing.

While the entire body-positivity movement has done a lot for the representation and acceptance of various kinds of bodies across ethnicities, a part of it has also turned radical where people are indirectly celebrating obesity and underlying health conditions like cholesterol, high blood pressure, etc.

A person can have a fuller body type and be fit. A person can be thin and have several health issues. The main concentration should be on one’s health and not how one looks. Now that we have established this, it’s time to narrate the story of Deputy Commissioner of Police Metro Jitendra Mani from Delhi.

He aimed for 15,000 steps a day and switched his diet from a high-carbohydrate one to a more nutritious one that focused on fibre, fruits and vegetables.

“I switched from a high-carbohydrate diet of rotis and rice to more nutritious options like soups, salads and fruits,” he revealed.

Just by increasing his daily movement and diet, he was able to lose 46 kilograms of weight and 12 inches off his waist in just 8 months. His cholesterol levels were also lowered drastically.
