Man Who Shot Deer Dies After The Deer Attacks Him, Twitter Says ‘Life’s A Boomerang’

Life’s a boomerang, you get what you give! Anything good or bad that you do comes right back to you either after days, weeks and years or instantly, but surely in the same lifetime. And a recent case from Arkansas proves so!

A 66-year-old hunter, Thomas Alexander, was hunting near Yellville, an area in the Ozark Mountains about 105 miles (170 kilometers) north of Little Rock recently, when he shot a shot a buck with his muzzleloader.

After shooting the buck, apparently, it fell unconscious on the ground and the hunter went over to the animal to check if it is dead. The buck suddenly got up and attacked Thomas. Bitten and hit at numerous spots on his body, Thomas somehow managed to call his wife who further called EMS. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, reports The Tribune.

“We’re not sure that he died from the deer. It could have been other medical issues,” Keith Stephens, a spokesperson for the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission told TIME. “The hospital did note that he had several puncture wounds,” he added.

Stephens also pointed out that hunters are advised to wait at least 30 minutes after they shoot a deer to approach it. “Then, check if you can see whether [the] deer is breathing by watching the chest area,” Stephens said.

Cops are, however, investigating the role of deer in the hunter’s death in detail. The news has gained a lot of traction on Twitter with people calling it ‘Karma’. Have a look at what people have to say about the incident:
