Deepika Padukone’s Epic Transformation For An Iranian Director Will Leave You In A Daze

Would you disagree if I say Deepika Padukone is one of the most beautiful women in the entertainment industry? Doubtlessly, she is talented as well. She’s also awaiting a smashing break in Hollywood opposite action thriller giant, Vin Diesel in xXx : The Return Of Xander Cage in the upcoming year. But there is something more challenging coming her way.

Deepika is working with star Iranian director, Majid Majidi on what seems to be her most interesting movie just judging by the first look. He was nominated for an Oscar for his film Children Of Heaven in 1999.

Yes! That’s Deepika Padukone if you’re still in disbelief. 😛

The film is tentatively titled Kashmir Afloat and will be filmed in Uttar Pradesh, Kashmir and Mumbai (in the picture, the famous Dhobi Ghat).

“It is an Indian story and will be shot in Mumbai, Delhi, parts of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan and Kashmir. It will take off towards the year-end or early 2017 and is a signature Majidi film with new takes on relationships and emotional quotients.” said the casting director.
