‘Deep Dream’ By Google Is Turning Regular Images To Things Straight Out Of Nightmares

If you are among one of those people who get scared easily, this piece is not for you.

You know how the computer sees the world? It uses artificial intelligence (AI) program to look for the similarity of patterns in the image in order to identify and sort an image from the bulk of images. Hence, often the end result is often very different (and scary) from the real photograph. It often includes elements that are not in the photograph like random dog faces, swirls, and hands. The source code is now open to developers by Google under the name Deep Dream.

They take code from Google’s AI and let you upload your own photos, transforming them into eerie, computerized dreamscapes.

You can try them yourself by following this link.

However, I must warn you that the end results, are not a pleasant sight. Especially if you are high, your trip is going to a whole new level with the psychedelic results that Deep Dream can show you.

In stock, Google has many other interesting (and creepy) ideas to keep the user hooked. They have also requested the users to share the processed images with the hashtag #DeepDream so that researchers can find them and analyze the code.

Well, whatever you do, make sure you don’t dream of this stuff. It’s going to be super weird.
