A couple of days ago, television actor couple Debina Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary took to social media and shared their happiness of having a second baby on board after delivering their first daughter, Lianna Choudhary, four months ago. The couple that was unable to conceive naturally for years, stated it as a miracle.

Assuming that people might have queries and suggestions for them, Debina decided to conduct an ‘Ask me anything’ session on her gram. While she was flooded with genuine inquiries related to childbirth, having a second child, breastfeeding, and work-life balance, a couple of her followers also suggested that they could have waited longer before planning their second child.
One user suggested, “I mean you should give time to Liana a little before the second child that’s my opinion, btw congratulations.”
To which she replied, “Am also asking. What do people do when they have twins?”
Another one asked, “Ma’am as in your first preg you face a lot of problems don’t you think you should wait for at least one year for the second baby??”
Seemingly irked by it, Debina cross-questioned, “What is your suggestion in such a situation I call a miracle? ABORT?”
I think it’s insensitive of people to ask these questions when the couple having the baby has already decided to welcome their second child with open arms.
Do you think they don’t discuss or pay heed to such situations before taking such huge decisions? Either be happy for them or just give them a break from your unsolicited, terrible suggestions and remarks.
