David Warner Sweats It Out As A Construction Worker After Being Banned From Cricket

One of the most deadly hitters in the world of cricket, David Warner, was well on his way to go down as one of Australia’s all-time greats. The left-handed genius who had all the ingredients of a successful baggie green was hit with a vicious blow after being convicted of the dramatic ball-tampering scandal by Cricket Australia.

It was quite a turnaround for the man with an assertive approach as an emotional David Warner issued a heartfelt apology accepting the year-long ban slammed on him. However, with ample time to bounce back from the gigantic fall, the 31-year-old is not the one to sit back and count days. And quite expectedly, Warner seems to have taken up the hard way bringing out the warrior in him.

In his bid to remain fit, David Warner was spotted pushing himself as a construction worker. It was not in some random location but he was putting in his efforts to build a $10 million mansion for himself and family.

The mansion is being compounded on a block of blue ribbon land overlooking Lurline Bay located in the heart of Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.

With the ‘Project Manager’ and ‘Apprentice Celebrity’ tag on his head, the opening batsman was all smiles during work.

Warner’s wife Candice took to Instagram to share a snap from the moment. Warner can be seen using a drill in the picture sporting the hard hat.

Warner and his wife bought the plot in 2015, for an amount of $4 million. While they continue to turn their dream five-story building into reality, the Aussie and his family are currently staying in their Maroubra home bought for $2.5 million last year.

This is nothing but an example of the true fighter the man is and we can’t help but hope for a sensational comeback for the Aussie.
