According to a report by The New York Times, people over the age of 60, especially the ones over 80, are particularly vulnerable to the coronavirus. Elderly people have underlying medical conditions which make them all the more susceptible to fatal diseases.
To protect her elderly father from catching the disease, a woman named Lizzie Logan made a flyer with her dad’s picture with the writing, ‘Have you seen this man? Tell him to go home”, reports Hindustan Times.
In a few tweets that followed, Lizzie spoke about how her dad has been “stubborn” and keeps trying to go out despite being advised social-distancing. She asked people online to ask her dad to go back home if ever they spot him outside.

If there are elderly people at home who insist on going outside, it’s better to school them and make them aware of the coronavirus and the need for us as responsible citizens to practice self-quarantine and social-distancing. Safety measures are to be taken seriously during such tense times!
