Children and teenagers deal with a lot of unresolved issues and while everything might seem fine on the exterior, it’s hardly what it looks like. Moreover, if the child is struggling with their identity in relation to their sexual orientation, it can result in more complications.
Something similar happened in Ghaziabad on March 9, 2018, when a daughter bludgeoned her mother to death because her parents objected to her having a relationship with a female teacher.
As reported by DNA, the 18-year-old girl was allegedly in a relationship with the 35-year-old teacher and was planning to run away with her.
Her father spoke about the incident and talked about how their daughter attacked her mother when they were alone on Friday. He said,
“My daughter attacked my wife with sticks and rods, which led to severe injuries to her head. My daughter fled the spot and my wife was bleeding heavily when my younger daughter arrived from school.
My daughter wanted to run away with her female teacher. Both were in a relationship for since over three months and we had objected to it. We had no altercation for any other reason.”
The father also said that their daughter had run away with said teacher previously two months ago. The family at the time had sought the help of the police to bring her back. The teacher is separated from her husband and lived alone.
The victim’s body was found by the youngest daughter of the couple who found her mother severely injured. The police were called and the woman was rushed to a hospital, after which she was referred to another hospital where she succumbed to her injuries on Sunday.
The victim’s father has filed a complaint against the accused and the teacher. An FIR has been currently lodged at the Kavi Nagar police station, under IPC section 304, for culpable homicide not amounting to murder. The father had also pulled the accused out of school and discontinued her studies in Class 11, as the teacher was employed at the same school.
What happened is a grave tragedy and we hope that the accused gets punished accordingly. Police are currently on the look-out for the girl who is suspected to have gone into hiding with the teacher.
