Passion is a wonderful thing as it gives your life direction and motivates you to follow your dreams with the utmost dedication. Fortunately, in comparison to the earlier generation, millennials do have an upside as far as profession is concerned and can choose to follow their passion. However, there is no such thing in the world as a free lunch, and everybody has to struggle to get to a comfortable point in their career.
But 22-year-old Adnan Khan from Delhi did not want to work hard or struggle and instead, turned to crime to fulfil his desires.
Adnan claims to be the winner of Mr Uttarakhand dance competition and also auditioned for a number of dance reality shows. He allegedly carried out a robbery with three of his friends at a pizza outlet in Dwarka, Sector 12 on 11, December 2017.
The four men robbed around ₹3.45 lakh from the outlet at knife-point. Reportedly, Adnan was roped in for the crime after he confessed to his friend Ram that he needed the money. After police caught his accomplice, Ram based on a tip-off.
However, Khan was constantly able to evade arrest as he continued changing his address. The police finally caught up with him and arrested him on Monday. A police officer told Hindustan Times that Khan wasn’t ready for the “initial struggle”. He said,
Khan has no police record and up until now, had been very passionate about dance as he had learnt to dance from a very early age. He even had his own YouTube channel where he uploaded dance videos.
It’s rather unfortunate that a great talent sacrificed his talent to the world of crime, just because he did not want to work hard.
