Daughter Shares Screenshots Of Father’s ‘Emergency’ Texts After He Loses Her Pet Hamster

Fathers share a very special bond with their daughters. It is not uncommon for them to make sacrifices so that their little girl is happy. From sliding a milk bottle under their shirt to ‘breastfeed’ a hangry baby to diving into the water so that their princess’ photo has a ‘splash background’, they go the extra mile without any complaints.

According to Mail Online, 53-year-old Daniel Veerman from Boston, Massachusetts, was pet-sitting her daughter Steph’s hamster (Chester) while she was away at college. He put the hamster in a clear ball so that his cage could be cleaned but the fluff ball managed to escape.

Subsequently, the panicked father informed Steph about the ’emergency’ and apologized profusely.

Then he sprinkled flour on the floor so that he could catch Chester’s paw-prints. Talk about ingenuity.

The ’emergency’ was soon resolved as Chester was found (in his own cage) reports Fox News, but people couldn’t get over the father-daughter’s wholesome conversation. The post currently has 99,000 retweets and 402,000 likes on Twitter.

Everyone was floored by the fact that Daniel even offered to skip work until the pet was found and officially declared him the sweetest dad ever.

Going to give my dad a big bear hug now without any reason 🙂
