The moment the coronavirus took the world by storm, everyone has been waiting for the day when scientists would come up with a vaccine for this contagious virus. Well, several countries and biotech companies have been rigorously working to develop these immunizers.
Earlier, Massachusetts-based company Moderna was given the green signal to begin phase 2 of human trials after their phase 1 experiment showed promising results. Russia was also one of the first countries to launch the world’s 1st COVID-19 vaccine.
Now, Moderna has announced that its vaccine is 94.5 percent effective, reported The Indian Express. Other companies like Pfizer-BioNTech and the Russian makers of the Sputnik V vaccine had also earlier said that their vaccines are found to be over 90 percent effective.
