She gets Roop and Dev married so that she can die peacefully with the thought that Roop will take care of her husband for the rest of life.
Something similar has happened in Bhind district of Madhya Pradesh. Dileep and Vinita had tied the knot nine-years ago and they have three children together. Vinita, who is the sarpanch of Gudavali village in Bhind district’s Mehgaon said that she was not well and wanted someone trustworthy to take care of her three children. So, she decided to get her husband married to someone else, reports India Today.
Meanwhile, her husband expressed his liking towards her cousin Rachna and said that he wished to marry her since a long time. So it was decided that he will tie the knot with Rachna. But at the wedding ceremony, Dileep decided to marry his wife and her cousin together. So he exchanged the garlands and the nuptial vows with both the sisters together, reports Loksatta.
However, as per the Hindu Marriage Act, until and unless you divorce your first wife, your second marriage is not considered legal.
