Travelling Couple Slammed As ‘Irresponsible’ For Sharing A Pic Of Themselves Hanging Out Of A Train

Taking Instagram worthy pictures is one of the hottest trends among youngsters. Whether it is flaunting exotic food dishes from around the world with #foodporn or posing in front of a quaint backdrop, charming your followers with #dailygrams is a quintessential mania these days. So much so that some of the popular social media bloggers and influencers have also lost their lives in doing so!

Remember the travel blogger couple who fell to their death while clicking a picture at a cliff in California National Park last year?

There’s a very fine line between adventure and ‘stupidity’, isn’t it? Netizens are busy schooling one such adventurously stupid couple, lately. Portuguese travel blogger couple Raquel and Miguel recently shared a dangerous picture from their Sri Lanka tour on Instagram.

The photo shows Raquel clutching onto a moving train, with her whole body hanging out. Whereas, her boyfriend Miguel leans out of the carriage to kiss her forehead.

The picture since then has been receiving flak from critics. They have branded the couple ‘irresponsible’ for posting such a ‘stupid’ and ‘dangerous’ picture. The couple popular for sharing romantic snaps from their adventurous tours on Instagram defended themselves by saying that the pace of the train was slow and so they weren’t in any danger.

Netizens were, however, not all convinced with their explanation. They also pointed out that this picture would encourage others to try a similar pose which might turn out deadly for them.

No wonder, the picture is receiving such a furious response from the internet. After all, influencers are meant to encourage people in doing the right thing and of course, not in risking their lives.
