From celebrities to friends and family, all of us know couples who are in loving relationships with someone much younger/older than them. Because age is just a number and it is compatibility, respect and communication that makes or breaks any relationship.
23-year-old Quran and 60-year-old Cheryl also believe the same and have no qualms about their 37-year age gap. Mirror UK reports that their folks (including Cheryl’s children who are older than Quran) also have no issues with them dating.
They share videos of themselves dancing and kissing on TikTok and several trolls have left negative comments asking if their relationship is real. Some even called Cheryl Quran’s grandmother insinuating that he might have a financial motive. The couple has since defended each other and revealed that Cheryl has an eating disorder. Mail Online quoted Cheryl saying,
“You don’t judge a book by its cover. People are too farfetched, they say stupid immaterial s***, but what I say back to that is, you can’t judge us. Looks have nothing to do with it, we’re given our looks, how can we help what we look like? The best thing is our heart.”
She added,
“I’m not doing anything wrong, we dance, we spread positive vibes, we have a lot of good things going for us, I’m not gonna let the haters win. He treats me good, I treat him good, what’s everyone concerned about? Age is just a number, we can’t help who we love. It doesn’t bother us because it’s not the truth, they’re saying stupid stuff.”
