Ranveer Singh’s latest photoshoot, wherein he poses nude for Paper Magazine, took social media by storm. While several people were hailing the actor’s guts for doing so, he wasn’t spared his fair share of online trolling. He became the subject of memes and jokes but some even questioned if the audience would be as lenient if it were a woman in his place.
However, all’s not fun and games because two complaints have been filed against actor Ranveer Singh seeking the registration of an FIR for “hurting sentiments of women” through his nude photographs on social media, reported Economic Times.

One of the complaints was filed in Chembur police station allegedly by an NGO office-bearer. The second was filed by a woman lawyer.
An official revealed that the NGO office-bearer claimed that Ranveer Singh “hurt the sentiments of women in general” and “insulted their modesty through his photographs”.

Although no FIR has been registered against Singh, the police have launched an enquiry into the matter.
