Comedian Attacked On Stage By Unprovoked Man, Escapes Miraculously With Just One Scratch

Comedians make the world a better place with their skills. Believe it or not, making someone laugh requires a lot of effort. It depends on not only your words but also how you address certain issues and how you interact with the audience. Not to mention that comedians talk about a lot of serious issues by imbibing them with humour, which makes it easier for the audience to connect and understand them.

However, comedians are, unfortunately, no strangers to heckling as comedy shows do not have a lot of security and not everybody can take a joke in the right stride.

As reported by DailyMail, something similar happened to comedian Steve Brown who faced a harrowing situation recently, which no artist would ever want to be in. He was halfway through his set when a young man climbed up on the stage and attacked him.

The crowd could not believe their eyes and chaos spread through the entire Comedy House. As the situation escalated, Brown tried to dodge his attacker and both of them can be seen circling each other in a video recorded by a spectator.

However, it did not end there! When the attacker realised that the comedian was too far from his reach, he picked up the mic stand and tried to hurt him with it.

Steve Brown later shared a picture of a big gash on his arm where the mic stand hit him, and looking at it, we can say that it’s truly a miracle he wasn’t grievously injured.

He also shared a video on his Instagram clarifying the whole account and talking about how comedy clubs need to be held accountable for lack of security. He also said that the attack was completely unprovoked and just happened out of nowhere.

The man was then escorted out of the premises. A comedy show quickly turned into a bad nightmare for people who were present there and more so, for the artist. But, as they say, the show must go on. We wish him a speedy recovery and hope that he never has such an experience in the future. Get well soon, Steve.
