This Comic’s Hilarious Analysis Of Comebacks By Indian Parents Is Totally Relatable

If you’ve grown up in a conventional Indian household, most of you will have had your fair share of retorts and insults from your parents. If you were to actually analyse these, they don’t sit too high on the scale of quality. Most of the time, they aren’t particularly creative and even more often, it seems like they’re just not putting in the effort.

Abhishek Upmanyu provides an incredibly hilarious take on the comebacks we hear from Indian parents. He talks about the most universal mode of comebacks used by Indian parents which seems so obvious, I’m surprised I hadn’t noticed it before. He also talks about the kind of comebacks we resort to in general, which is unrefutable evidence of a total lack of effort on all our parts.
