Guy Gives A Full Presentation On ‘Wakanda’ from ‘Black Panther’, His Professor Had No Clue

Black Panther is hands down my all-time favourite movie in the Marvel universe. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve seen it already and yet don’t see myself tiring any time soon. The movie meant a lot to the African-American community, and rightly so, as it is unprecedented in the way it did absolute justice to their cultural representation. And even though I am not part of the community, I was able to appreciate the attention to detail the creators have paid to everything from the different tribes represented to even the tiniest aspect of the cast’s incredible costumes.

In fact, “Wakanda forever!”, is my new favourite way of greeting my fellow nerds. However, even the creators would give a high five to this dude who took his admiration for the fictional country, to a whole new level.

A Reddit user AlexeyShved1 recently gave an entire presentation about the power struggle in Wakanda at his college.

The superfan pulled off this stunt as part of a class assignment for his International Marketing course in college. And the catch? The professor had no clue that his presentation was based on a fictional universe!

He posted a video of his 11-minute presentation on the Reddit and explained how such an event came to take place:

“I mentioned Wakanda the day before jokingly and she questioned it, so I offered to do a presentation about the country and their power struggle. She was incredibly excited to learn about a country she had never heard of so I gave this.”

The mock presentation with a flurry of gifs and the infamous comic sans font covered everything from the history of the nation starting with Bast to the recent disappearance of King T’challa.

Now, is that the coolest class presentation you’ve ever seen or what?! If the ones I had to sit through in college were half as engaging, my attendance wouldn’t have suffered as much as it did.

Fellow Redditors couldn’t get enough of the epic move, raving about how much work he put into it and the cluelessness of the professor.

This professor who the student claims is the “type of person who only watches tennis on TV”, is sure to catch up on her superhero fiction after this. I wouldn’t be surprised if she turns into a complete Black Panther fan following that epic presentation.
