The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has proven time and again their worth in providing integrated security to major public and private sector infrastructure installations of our country. All airports including Delhi and Mumbai, VIP Security, Disaster Management, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation etc are under the surveillance of the CISF.
In yet another display of their proficiency, the CISF personnel at the Delhi Metro escorted a woman to safety, after they had to deny her permission for boarding the metro train since she was too drunk.
The 25-year-old woman is said to have been too inebriated to even stand. In the incident which occurred on Monday night at the Samaypur Badli station, the woman insisted on taking the train despite being told that drunk passengers were not allowed on Metro premises.
As per Hindustan Times, the woman allegedly got into an argument with the security personnel upon being denied permission to board the metro. A CISF officer said,
The CISF officers then contacted her husband, who requested them to drop her till Dhaula Kuan Metro station from where he would pick her. Another official added,
“At Dhaula Kuan metro station, she was handed over to her husband.”
Reportedly, she was escorted by two constables.
