When A Drunk Woman Was Denied Entry To Delhi Metro, Helpful CISF Drops Her Home

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has proven time and again their worth in providing integrated security to major public and private sector infrastructure installations of our country. All airports including Delhi and Mumbai, VIP Security, Disaster Management, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation etc are under the surveillance of the CISF.

In yet another display of their proficiency, the CISF personnel at the Delhi Metro escorted a woman to safety, after they had to deny her permission for boarding the metro train since she was too drunk.

The 25-year-old woman is said to have been too inebriated to even stand. In the incident which occurred on Monday night at the Samaypur Badli station, the woman insisted on taking the train despite being told that drunk passengers were not allowed on Metro premises.

As per Hindustan Times, the woman allegedly got into an argument with the security personnel upon being denied permission to board the metro. A CISF officer said,

“Around 10.45pm, the woman, a resident of south Delhi, had approached the security point for frisking. The woman was in an absolutely inebriated state, travelling alone and was not able to walk properly. Seeing her condition, she was denied entry as drunken passengers are not allowed in the Metro.”
Despite their many attempts to pacify the woman going vain, the CISF officials proceeded to ensure that the woman reaches home safely.

The CISF officers then contacted her husband, who requested them to drop her till Dhaula Kuan Metro station from where he would pick her. Another official added,

“At Dhaula Kuan metro station, she was handed over to her husband.”

Reportedly, she was escorted by two constables.

The CISF has truly stood up to their motto of “Protection and Security” this time again. But we must remember that it does fall into our hands to not be a nuisance to anyone else and to be responsible for our own safety.
