YouTuber Tricks Elderly Homeless Men Into Eating Soap Covered In Chocolate; Video Sparks Outrage

Time and again, we’ve seen social media influencers prank unsuspecting people in their videos. However, while some pranks are fun to watch, there are others that are totally distasteful (read freaky kissing pranks) and might be dangerous too.

Recently, a social media influencer tricked elderly and homeless men into eating soap bars covered in chocolate in Colombia. In the video, Milton Domínguez, who is also known as Jay Tomy, can be seen visiting a local store to purchase soap bars, reports the Daily Mail. He then goes on to add sticks to the bars and then dips them into chocolate to make them look like real ice-cream.

The influencer then approaches unsuspecting victims telling them that he is selling a new chocolate ice cream bar to consumers. In the clip, elderly and homeless men, as well as a young boy, take bites of the fake ice cream bars before realizing it was actually soap.

The video garnered backlash on social media as people pointed out that the prank could pose a danger to the health of the people involved. According to Cartagena Metropolitan Police, individuals who participated in the prank could face criminal charges. One of the participants turned himself in and apologized for his actions. He was fined $324(Rs 24,000 approx.). Eventually, the YouTuber issued a public apology too.

While pranks can be enjoyable, such distasteful jokes are neither funny nor safe. What do you think? Tell us!
