Chinese Company Gifts Year-end Bonuses To Employees Via A Cash Mountain Worth ₹314 Crore

We all know someone in our lives who suffers from severe mood swings, leading to very polarising outputs. China is like that moody friend. On one day, you’ll see them make their employees crawl on the streets because they didn’t meet their sales targets.

And on the other you’ll see them celebrating like there’s no tomorrow. I mean, there’s no consistency, but it’s truly fun to watch them just do the most bizarre things possible.

According to the Shangiist, a Chinese steel plant hit the jackpot this year. And with the Spring Festival around the corner, they decided to give out year-end bonuses in the form of a cash mountain.

The steel plant in question is located in the Jiangxi capital of Nanchang. And it was there where they erected this “cash mountain” out of stacks after stacks of banknotes, which amounted to 300 million yuan (Rs. 314 crore)

The plant has a total of 5000 employees. So, each one of them got an average bonus of 60,000 yuan (around Rs. 6 lakh), which is double the amount they had received last years. An employee said,

“Such a big bonus, I don’t know how to spend it all!”

That said, China isn’t the place where employees get some crazy bonuses. Surat’s Savji Dholakia always rewards his people with cars, flats and Mercedes Benz. So, get yourself a company where you can be rewarded in this fashion at the end of the year.
