Hairdressers In China Use Long Poles To Style Client’s Hair Amid Coronavirus; Watch Video

Coronavirus, that has already claimed many lives globally, was recently detected in India. According to the Times of India, a total number of 31 cases have been positively recorded in the country. While scientists and researchers around the globe are working non-stop to find a cure for Coronavirus, it is important that people take precautionary measures against the deadly virus.

Recently, hairdressers in China found an innovative solution to protect themselves amid the coronavirus outbreak. The barbers used tools attached to the end of long sticks to style their client’s hair in order to avoid physical contact with them.

He Bing, a 30-year-old hairstylist, captured the footage of his co-workers providing the “long-distance haircuts” in the southern city of Luzhou in Sichuan province, reports the New York Post. In the clip, the hairdressers can be seen wearing protective masks while using poles with brushes, shavers, and hairdryers attached to them.

A twitter user shared another video of a salon using this unique technique:

Salon owners are reportedly using the poles to make customers feel safer. The Chinese health officials have advised citizens to keep a minimum distance of 1.5 metres (4.92 feet) away from one another in public. Well, we hope the situation gets better soon and a permanent solution is found to eradicate the virus.
