As India fights the second wave of the pandemic, police officers are out on the road trying to curb the spread of coronavirus as much as possible. From reminding people to follow safety protocols to punishing violators, they are working round the clock, sometimes even in dire conditions.
For example, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Shilpa Sahu, who is 5-months pregnant, was recently caught on video working on the busy streets under the scorching heat in Dantewada, Chhattisgarh, reports India Today.
In the video, Shilpa is seen regulating the traffic with a lathi in her hand and a mask on her face. Despite the heat, she is seen enquiring people on the road about their whereabouts and making sure they are following Covid protocols.

In an interview with India Today, Shilpa revealed that she isn’t having any problem physically while she is on duty, considering that she is moving towards the advanced stages of pregnancy. She further claimed that she is following every guideline there is to follow to ensure both she and her baby are in perfect health.
