Here’s the thing – stop putting cheese on every food item. Nowadays you’ll find cheese and mayonnaise being put into random dishes. It started from cheese maggi and then the trend trickled its way down to kathi rolls, momos, dosas, vada pav and whatnot. This needs to stop because clearly, it’s getting out of hand.
Hence, it was only normal for desis online to be flabbergasted on seeing a video of ‘cheese chai’. One Twitter user @MFuturewala posted a video of the alleged ‘Cheese Chai’ wherein you can see a cup covered with melted cheese on top and after a person digs in with a spoon, black tea-like liquid oozes out.

However, while cheese is getting added to anything and everything these days, it might not be the case with this particular video. Some suggested that the video might be of ‘French Onion Soup’.

The French Onion Soup is based on meat stock and onions and is often served with a brown crust of breadcrumbs and cheese on top. It looks very similar to the video above.
So today might not be the day that our beloved chai got ruined for all of us!😅
