Woman Finds Out Her ‘Two-Timing’ Cat Has Been Living Dual Lives With 2 Names & 2 Homes

Encountering a cheating partner is no big news in the era of ‘one-night stands’ and ‘casual flings’ but have you heard of a cheating pet? Well, if not, then let me introduce you to this pet cat who has been cheating his parents and enjoying a dual life.

Mary Lore Barra was intrigued when she saw a new collar around her pet cat Pixi when he came back home from his regular stroll, reported News18.

A resident of Tampico, Mexico and one of the two cat owners, Barra was quick to guess that something was brewing and probably it’s the case of infidelity. “He was looking more plump. Then it occurred to me,” said Barra.

She then took the matters in her hands and started inquiring. She decided to put a small hand-written note around the cat’s collar, waiting for a reply from the other owners (if any) when Pixi returns back home after his walk. “His name is Pixi the kitten, I think he has 2 houses, haha,” she wrote on the note.

And as Barra had guessed, the cat was indeed ‘cheating’ on her. When Pixi returned home, he had another note attached to his collar that read, “Here he is called Huarache, apparently he does have two homes, haha. Greetings! The kitten’s other parents.”

After further investigation, it was found that both the owners resided just a few blocks from one another (in the same neighbourhood). They even shared other notes introducing themselves to each other. However, the owners weren’t pissed at the cat for his infidelity. They, in fact, decided to share his custody and even remained in touch through the notes, reported Times Now.

Barra said that she wasn’t upset with Pixi’s disloyalty. “Pixi is very lucky. Some cats don’t even have a home [let alone two]. I know they’re good people because they take care of him,” she said. The stray grey cat was welcomed by Barra at her residence when he accidentally landed over at her place two years ago. Since then he keeps visiting Barra’s place looking for food and affection.

The cat was actually living two different lives, with two different names and was being looked after by two different families for over two years. WOAH, that’s one smart kitty!
